After my best friend signed up for a free dating website she finally started to perk up a little bit. She always had a smile on her face and seemed to be in the best mood, but when we asked if she had met someone, she would always say that she hadn’t. We couldn’t understand what was making her so happy. She finally told me one night that she was never looking for love. She signed up to find companionship and although none of the men she ever spoke with worked out over time, she was happy just going out and living life once again.
